*Lifetime License, Device Binding and Support Limitations
The EyeCharts software license is granted on a lifetime basis, meaning it does not expire.
The license is technically bound to the device on which it is activated.
The user may freely migrate the license to another device at any time by properly deactivating the license on the current device and activating it on a new one, using the software’s built-in deactivation mechanism.
In cases where the original device is lost, damaged, stolen, malfunctioning, formatted, or otherwise rendered inoperable, and license deactivation is not possible, EyeCharts has no technical control or responsibility over the license status.
EyeCharts is not responsible for hardware failures, electrical or electronic damage, device loss, or any event that prevents license deactivation on the original device.
The purchase of a license includes a limited period of free support, clearly communicated at the time of purchase. This support period may include assisted reactivation, manual license recovery, or code reissuance in situations where the user is unable to deactivate the license due to device failure.
After the free support period has ended:

The user may continue to self-manage license migration by deactivating and activating devices normally;

There is no obligation for EyeCharts to manually recover, reissue, or reset licenses when deactivation is not possible;

If the device is permanently unavailable and the support period has expired, activation on another device requires the purchase of a new license or an active support plan.
EyeCharts does not provide lifetime free support, and does not guarantee license recovery in cases involving irreversible device failure outside the support period.
Any exceptions, courtesies, or extraordinary accommodations may be granted at the sole discretion of EyeCharts and do not constitute a precedent, obligation, or acquired right.
By purchasing, installing, or using the EyeCharts software, the user acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
